Mailbird Next lets you use email signatures so your outgoing messages can include a consistent sign-off, contact details, branding, and, in newer versions, images.

💡 Note: This article covers Mailbird Next signatures. If you are using Flamingo to generate a signature design, see the separate Flamingo signature article found here.

✍️ What signatures can do

  • Add reusable signature content to messages you compose in Mailbird Next.
  • Include formatted text such as names, roles, phone numbers, links, and basic styling.
  • Add an image to your email signature in versions that include signature-image support.

🖋️ How to manage signatures

  1. Open Settings in Mailbird Next.
  2. Go to the composing or signature settings for the account you want to edit.
  3. Create or edit your signature content, and add any images you want to it.
  4. Save your changes and compose a new message to confirm the signature appears as expected.

⚠️ Important information

  • Large images can make emails heavier and may be blocked or hidden by the recipient’s email provider.
  • Some recipients may not see remote or embedded images until they choose to load images (as described here)
  • Signature rendering can vary between email clients because every recipient app handles HTML email differently.
  • If a signature does not appear in Quick Reply or a separate compose window, check whether the account has a saved signature and whether the message is using that account.

If your signature does not behave as expected, please contact the Customer Happiness Team. Include your Mailbird Next version, operating system, and details of what isn't behaving correctly. If possible, include a screenshot of the signature editor and the message where the signature appears incorrectly.
