📁 How to Back Up Your Email Data
To manually back up your Mailbird Next data, follow these steps:

Quit Mailbird Next completely to make sure it’s not running in the background.

Right-click on your Finder and choose Go to Folder…

In the field that appears, copy/paste this path:
~/.local/share/MailbirdNext/ -
You’ll see a folder called Release.

Right-click the Release folder and choose Copy.

Right-click on your Desktop (or any safe location) and choose Paste Item.
That’s it! Your Mailbird data is now backed up.

🔄 Moving to a New Mac?
If you're setting up Mailbird Next on a new device:

Navigate to the same folder on your new Mac:
~/.local/share/MailbirdNext/ -
Paste or overwrite the existing Release folder with the backup from your old device.

You can use a USB drive or file-sharing method to transfer the folder.

Mailbird Next does not support server-to-server transfers, but here are some alternatives:
