đźš« Overview of Block Sender

The Block Sender feature in Mailbird Next lets you stop unwanted emails from reaching your inbox. Once activated, any future messages from a blocked sender will be automatically moved to your Spam folder, helping you maintain a clean and organized mailbox.

⚙️ How to Use Block Sender in Mailbird Next

To use the Block Sender feature, follow these steps:

  • Open Mailbird Next.

  • Locate and open an email from the sender you want to block.

  • Click the More options menu (three vertical dots) in the email header area.

  • Select Block Sender from the dropdown menu.

  • Confirm your choice when prompted.

Once confirmed, all future emails from that sender will be sent directly to your Spam folder.

đź“‹ Managing Your Blocked Senders List

You can review or manage your list of blocked senders at any time:

  • Open the Mailbird Next settings menu (i.e. the gear icon in the bottom left-hand corner)

  • Head to the Advanced tab.

  • From here, you can unblock a sender by hovering your mouse over their email address.

đź’ˇ Tips for Using Block Sender Effectively

  • Use this feature for persistent spam or unwanted emails from known senders.

  • If legitimate emails are being blocked by mistake, check your Spam folder periodically and unblock the sender if necessary.

  • The Block Sender feature works on a per-email-address basis—different email addresses from the same domain will need to be blocked individually.
