✂️ Using Snippets in Mailbird Next
Mailbird Next includes a powerful Snippets feature that lets you save frequently used messages as reusable templates, ideal for streamlining repetitive email tasks.
🛠️ Creating and Managing Snippets
To create or edit snippets:
Click the Settings (gear) icon in the bottom-left corner of Mailbird's interface.
Navigate to the Snippets tab at the top of the Settings window.
You'll now see the Snippets management panel (as shown below).
🎨 Formatting Information
You can use all the standard formatting tools: bold, italic, bullet points, and numbered lists.
Keep in mind that attachments cannot be saved to snippets. To include files, manually add them while composing an email using the paperclip icon after inserting the snippet (as shown below).
🧠 Naming Best Practices
Every snippet needs a name. For easy organization, use clear and consistent naming conventions. For example:
FollowUp_ClientNameIntro_TeamOutOfOffice_August
📂 Snippet Organization
Snippets appear in chronological order, with the oldest at the top and the newest at the bottom.
To remove a snippet, click the three-dot menu next to it and choose Remove snippet.
✉️ Inserting Snippets While Composing Emails
To insert a snippet into an email:
Open a Compose window.
Click the Snippets icon near the bottom toolbar.
Select the desired snippet from the list.
You can also jump directly to the Snippets settings by clicking Manage Snippets from within the Compose window.
