π¬ Overview
Mailbird Next fully supports email aliases, allowing you to manage multiple alias addresses under a single primary account. This is especially useful in business environments where team members may use alias addresses to route messages into a shared inbox.
β What Is an Email Alias?
An email alias is a forwarding address that redirects incoming messages to your primary email account. Here are the key points to keep in mind:
-
Aliases often appear as standalone addresses (e.g., support@company.com) but forward emails to another account (e.g., team@company.com).
-
Although emails are delivered to the primary inbox, each alias maintains its own identity and send-from address.
-
Aliases use the same account settings and contact list as the primary account.
