Attaching files to your emails in Mailbird Next is quick and simple, and we'll explain how you can do this in two simple ways.
📎 How to add attachments
Here's how you can add attachments to an email message:
-
Click the attachment icon (paperclip) in the Compose window and select your file.
-
Drag and drop the file directly into the Compose window from your desktop or file browser.
đź’ˇ Tip: When you drag a file into the Compose window, it will automatically attach once you release your mouse button.
📏 File Size Limits
Keep in mind that your email provider may have limits on attachment sizes. This is beyond Mailbird’s control. For example:
-
Gmail’s limit is 25MB.
-
If your file exceeds this size, the email will not be sent.
-
đź’ˇ Workaround for Large Files
If your file is too large to attach, you can upload it to a cloud storage service (like Google Drive) and include a shareable link in your email.
Here’s how to share files via Google Drive.
