In this brief article, we will explain how to check whether or not one of your email accounts in Mailbird for Mac is using IMAP or Exchange as its email protocol.
This can be done in a few simple steps, which are outlined below:
- First, click on the Settings icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the page
- Then, please click on the Accounts icon at the top
- From the left column, select the account you would like to check
- Then click on the Settings tab on the right side
- Check the port numbers listed: 143 and 993 are IMAP ports. If there is no port number listed and you can see the Server URL then it is an Exchange account.
