In this article we will explain how to easily locate your Mailbird for Mac log file. Occasionally we may ask you to provide this file to us if you are encountering difficulties within the Mailbird for Mac app.
To locate the log file, please follow the steps below.
- First, right-click on the Finder and select Go to Folder (as shown below).
- There, please copy/paste the following path into the field which appears (as shown in the image):

~/.local/share/MailbirdNext/Release
- Please note that Mailbird Next was the development name for the Mac OS version of our product, which is now called Mailbird for Mac. They are both the same thing.

- A folder called Release will now appear - please locate the Log.log file and attach it to your support ticket.
The log file can be sent to us through the support webpage - we will then do our very best to investigate your problem once we have received this file.
